Mrs. Samia Faiz Durrani commenced her professional career in 1992, working in the financial sector for about 8 years before transitioning into the legal profession. She has extensive experience in Civil, Corporate, Banking, Constitutional, and Contract matters, regularly providing expert legal opinions on these issues.

She has played a vital role in CSR activities for the legal fraternity and is highly skilled in litigation within the banking sector. Her expertise extends to shareholding disputes, acquisitions, mergers, and corporate amalgamations. Beyond her legal practice, she has contributed significantly to the legal community through her election to the Supreme Court Bar Association’s Executive Committee in 2019 and her re-election as Vice President in 2024.

Mr. Faiz Durrani commenced his professional career in 1992, beginning in the financial sector before moving into the oil and gas industry, where he gained nearly a decade of experience. With more than 20 years of legal practice, he has handled complex civil, corporate, labor, service, banking, constitutional, and sophisticated criminal matters.

His expertise includes labor court and employee service cases, shareholding disputes, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate restructuring. He is also well-versed in drafting and vetting contracts, agreements, and MoUs. Alongside his professional work, Mr. Durrani has contributed actively to CSR initiatives within the legal fraternity.

Mr Durrani is a Barrister-at-Law of Lincoln’s Inn with a distinguished academic and professional background. He holds an LL.M. (Merit) from BPP University, London, and earned his LLB (Hons.) with Merits and Distinction from the University of London, specialising in Corporate and Commercial Law.

He initially joined the firm in 2018 and was part of the team until 2021. Following a brief period away, Mr Durrani has since rejoined the firm, continuing to contribute with the same commitment and depth of expertise that marked his earlier tenure.
His practice focuses on corporate advisory, contract drafting, legal vetting, and cross-border transactional work. He regularly advises a diverse portfolio of international and cross-border investors, offering commercially sound legal solutions tailored to complex, multi-jurisdictional matters.

Mr Durrani is recognised for his analytical precision, pragmatic approach, and strong research capabilities, which have consistently earned the confidence of both clients and colleagues.
